There is a 15% BUYERS PREMIUM on all purchases and SALES TAX applied unless a tax exempt form has been submitted 24 hours prior to the start of the auction closing. See Terms and Conditions for details on how to submit tax exempt form. Please update your CREDIT CARD information for each auction. If your credit card does not process on the night the auction closes, you must contact us to arrange PAYMENT of your invoice PRIOR TO PICK UP. If you have not arranged payment via credit card within 24 hours of the Pick up date, you must bring cash or check as your form of payment to pick up your items. Your winning email and invoice sent after the auction closing notifies you to the status of your payment, stating 'PAID IN FULL' or 'BALANCE DUE'. The auction will begin closing on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2026 at 7 PM at the rate of 4 lots every minute. A PREVIEW is available for the HEARSE ONLY (Lot 441) as part of this auction on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15 from 4 to 6 PM at 656 Holly Point Road, Mathews, VA 23109. Interested parties MUST CONTACT Janice at 804-815-9044 to make arrangements to Preview the vehicle.   IMPORTANT AUCTION INFORMATION– PLEASE READ!  The residence and funeral home have not been climate-controlled, particularly the funeral home. Please be aware that visible signs of mildew are present on some items located in the funeral home. All items are being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. We strongly encourage bidders to carefully review all photographs and descriptions before placing bids. SECOND FLOOR ITEMS: In this auction, Lots 267 through 333 are located on the second floor. Larger pieces of furniture are specifically noted in their individual lot descriptions. Buyer is responsible for making appropriate arrangements for the safe removal of their purchases and must bring required equipment (i.e., hand cart or dolly) and help, staff is only available to help locate your items. If you do not bring adequate help to remove larger items, you will forfeit your purchase and will not receive a refund. PICK UP for this auction will be on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24 from 9 AM to 1 PM ONLY at 656 Holly Point Road, Mathews, VA 23109 and by appointment only.  Look for updates or changes to Pick up days and times in case of inclement weather being forecasted; determination will be made at the discretion of the auctioneer and an announcement will be made closer to the day the auction starts to close.  Be sure to read the complete TERMS and CONDITIONS for each auction.
